Our Company History
In an effort to make a unique and special Christmas gift in 2003 for her 2 ½ year old daughter, Julie Weinberg put together a memory game with pictures of all her daughter's favorite family and friends. The first version was a success and was used a lot and showed the resulting wear. So in 2006, when her youngest daughter turned 3 and asked for a set, Julie set out to make a game that would also be a keepsake . After completing it, she thought this just might be a gift lots of others might like to give, but would not necessarily want to invest the time & money into figuring out a good way to make it work. So with great support from her husband Bill, Julie started the Games Made Just for You, LLC business and went to work using her Industrial Engineering degree skills to design a game that was functional, entertaining and cost effective. Based out of her home in Greenwood, Indiana, Julie enjoys sharing the special gift with other families. Not only has the game been created for kids, but it has also been made to share family pictures with older loved ones who live far away or live in nursing homes.
Then the Domino game was created for younger kids. The Sodok "YOU" gift set then followed as Julie's oldest daughter took an interest in the same puzzle Julie loved solving.
Julie has enjoyed the endeavor and hopes that she can create a special game for you or one of your loved ones.
